Airmar, a world leader in the production of marine sensor applications, has introduced the new B-260 dual-frequency transducer, which is capable of providing superior deep-water fish detection.

The sleek, new design allows it to be mounted flush into a high-speed fairing in order to minimize drag and turbulence, and the long leading edge provides improved performance when running or trolling. By splitting the transmission signals into two separate frequencies, the B-260 increases amplitude and performance, and minimizes ringing for better discrimination between closely spaced targets and the bottom structure.

The B-260 is ideal for use with Furuno, JRC, Northstar, Raymarine and Simrad depth sounders. Prices vary, depending on depth sounder model.
